A question I've been puzzling lately is why the Entertainment Effete, who refer to Trump as racist, say if he's elected they will move to Canada.....Why don't they say Mexico?.........racist?Canada offers film production tax credits ..... and solicialised healthcare. However, Canada is filled with people from the 'hateful' left, which is why we have one of the best quality of life standards in the world. ...and don't forget that Canadians are higher on the freedom index than Americans. It's all that lefty hate, don't you know. If Trump gets in, we'll be building a wall and making America pay for it. Reality Internet Personality |

Let him commit political Suicide. Indeed it is. Could it be that Drumpf will take the GOP with him? Some data According to the CNN poll, Clinton's net favorability is now -1%, while Drumpf's is -18%. Drumpf's best result was -15%, Clinton's worst -13% (Clinton's best was +43%). Looks like Clinton's trajectory back to positive favorability is continuing, while Drumpf seems stuck with a double digit negative. Apparently there's a line developing for Republicans saying they will not endorse Drumpf, including both Bush 41 and Bush 43, and fellow candidates Bush and Graham, while former Republican nominee McCain appears to have stopped short of endorsing Drumpf, and former Republican nominee Romney has made clear his opposition to Drumpf. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

bobby... Also happening in the Democratic Party, what we are seeing is wholesale repudiation and rejection of the two party 'good 'ole boys' system of forcing unpalatable choices down the throats of the Electorate. Both Trump and Sanders supporters want someone who will 'turn the rock over' in Washington and stomp on the vile nasty creatures that try to scurry away, from both sides. Though not my favorite choice, I think Trump has a better chance of doing that than Sanders(he's been feeding at the public trough his entire career, like the Big B.O.). You have that backwards. It was the easy availability of Federally-guaranteed student loans that allowed the states to drop much of their funding of public universities within their borders. Major IIRC the banks lobbied for the federally backed student loan programs. The defunding started during the anti-tax Reagan era. The question is which was the chicken or the egg? |

bobby... This year may turn out to be closer to 1964 for the Republican Party. fivethirtyeight has already shown Drumpf is no Reagan. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

In this election cycle policy doesn't seem to matter to the majority of the Republican voters. |

This year may turn out to be closer to 1964 for the Republican Party. It seems like he may have insulted a few too many important people who control the national party's purse strings and party structure. That is fatal. If you don't have local people in every precinct to turn out the vote, the democrats have the numbers to crush you at the polls. That also turns out bad for the republicans in every other contest. It is possible a Drumpf candidacy hands control of congress to the democrats. |

A good example of the right side .....Cayman Island 0 taxes on Corps. Glenn, You are just not understanding how things work. If the taxes on an item a business produces works out to US$1.00, it does not matter much if the tax is levied on the business itself or at the point of sale. The customer is going to pay US$1.00 more for the item. In fact, in Texas (but sadly not all States), if you are talking about a grocery store food item (not a restaurant food item), it works out better for the consumer if the business is NOT taxed, since the food you buy at a grocery store in Texas is EXEMPT from sales taxes. As far as my opinion of Trump... Why again should I change my mind? Here is some of what I have said about Trump in this very thread. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=77605&postid=1778578 Trump... http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=77605&postid=1768368 Is Trump dangerous? YES!!!!!!!!! So, I have called Trump an evil poison, said he was dangerous, and compared him to Hitler. Still think I need to change my mind on Trump? |

Typical of Britain lately and not surprising after Murdock gets away with his crap .Not just Britain, most of the 'news' content sites are starting to go to a subscription or pay per view format. Blame it instead on the demise of printed Newspapers and Magazines. The site owners are very greedy and are trying to 'double dip' not being content with the revenue generated by the nauseating popup, pop under and side bar ads. Television has been so compromised by greed that most 30 minute programs contain 15 minutes or less of actual programming. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

MK you sort of showed what I mean buy having a 0% tax on corps. If you didn't have other taxes like company tax the you would have to do what we would also have to do and tax Food . Trump I'm shore whant's to bring down company taxes to zero and that's bad for us average Joe's No GST tax here also on fresh produce only processed or cooked food gets 10% GST tax (and why I don't eat processed food or take away I cook my food ) I'll take it then your voting Trump |
