Bobby, I don't expect you to understand this but changing someones statement then using the 'Quote' button, is also BS.
That wasn't meant for you Jan, which is why I posted 'Bobby'. The exception I took on your post is people attributing statements to a person who did not make that statement. Again if you have an actual instance of Drumpf saying "Arm Children in Schools" then PLEASE post it. Otherwise it is PURE, made up, BS!

Harald Drumpf wrote:
Nej, han säger ju så mycket dumheter, som att han vill beväpna barnen i skolorna och så vidare.

Translated to English is "No, he says, so much nonsense, that he wants to arm children in schools and so on.". Harald's name is Harald, the quote is attributed to him and not some made up person. Nothing made up, Harald is likely incorrect, I've not seen anything direct from Donald saying children should be armed.

On the changing of "Trump" to "Drumpf" you have my apologies, my browser does that automatically. I wasn't aware that you'd used the adopted name.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

As others have discovered.

bobby is... ah... well... just bobby.

Read his Posts, then laugh, and move on.

Is it only 3 days since I last posted "more 'calling fellow posters inferior' nonsense from CLYDE."?

It sure is. Thanks CLYDE, good to see you're back into your usual ad-hom attack mode.

Plus c'est la même chose.

Why haven't we heard from Trump, or Cruz, on this decision, Secret Service: We’re not allowing firearms at the Republican National Convention

edit - put here as supplement to previous para.
Are guns welcome at Trump hotels?
On Thursday Trump's company, the Trump Organization, only added to the confusion by saying guns were already allowed.

The question, and its contradictory answers, came to the fore in Wednesday's debate among Republicans seeking their party's nomination for the November 2016 election during a discussion about gun control and the country's high rate of mass shootings, a highly divisive topic in U.S. politics.

Trump, who has spent months as the Republican favorite in polls, was in the middle of saying that gun-free zones in schools and elsewhere are a "catastrophe" that only make it easier for shootings to happen when a moderator asked him about his properties.

"We called a few Trump resorts," said moderator Carl Quintanilla, "that do not allow guns with or without a permit. Would you change those policies?"

Trump's eyes drifted up in thought for a split second. "I would change them," he said almost immediately, in a tone suggesting he had not considered it before but liked the idea. "OK. I would change them."

Different subject, How the Scandinavians got so tall or "An Argument for Big Government"
Americans now tend to think about our government as a constraint on our freedom, or, at best, as a kind of necessary evil that is occasionally useful for correcting the free market's excesses. Even those on the left sometimes narrowly view the government primarily as a way of redistributing income from the wealthy to those in need, according to Hacker and Pierson.

In Hacker and Pierson's expansive account of the history of U.S. politics, by contrast, the government isn't just a means for redistribution or even an economic handicap. Rather, they argue, the government is a crucial source of economic growth.

Specifically, they write, one of the main reasons that we're so much better off than previous generations of Americans is that the government can make people do things for society's benefit that they wouldn't ordinarily do, such as pasteurize their milk and vaccinate their kids. Also, the government can make people pay taxes to fund lucrative investments in education, scientific research and the construction of roads and rails -- to name a few of the main reasons for material progress in the past century.

I found very little he was quoted as saying to disagree with. "Gun Free Zone" reads "Unarmed Target Rich Environment" to Terrorists and Criminals alike. I avoid them like the plague.

Why would anyone need to respond to that? The proposal comes from a group of radical gun supporters (yes there are factions of Gun Rights groups just as there are radicals in any belief system) who do not represent the majority of the population. And anyone from any campaign who says it is currently legal to carry a firearm into a venue controlled by police and security equipment(metal detectors) is incorrect.

Trump's eyes drifted up in thought for a split second. "I would change them," he said almost immediately, in a tone suggesting he had not considered it before but liked the idea. "OK. I would change them."

Nice prose, the interviewer should write mystery novels. I remember when reporting and interviewing didn't involve interjecting the interviewers conjectures as to the thoughts in the subjects mind. He must be Kreskin! Again, I call BS, for the reasons previously stated, not as to what was said but it's pre-interpretation for the reader by the writer.

I posted that Drumpf NEVER said

Bobby, I don't expect you to understand this but changing someones statement then using the 'Quote' button, is also BS. But then again you are a master of mis-tatement and such things are to be expected.

In case my earlier post is missed because I didn't reply to this post directely. My apologies - I have drumpfinators installed in the browsers I typically use. It was this software that changed your use of "Trump" into "Drumpf".

BTW, congrats for singling out this aspect of my post and not responding to the details on a documented high school shooting in Israel from 2008 (where "a policy [of trained, armed teachers] that has worked for 50 years in Israel"). From a fan of the truth (or should that be "TRUTH!"?) one wonders why you didn't take the opportunity to make a correction.

Regarding what Drumpf said about arming children, while it may be true that he has not said directly children should be allowed to be armed at school, his comment that he "will get rid of gun-free zones on schools", could, in some states, lead to that outcome, as at least one state permits legal possession of a firearms from the age of 14.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

"Gun Free Zone" reads "Unarmed Target Rich Environment" to Terrorists and Criminals alike?
What?
It doesnt make sense.

To keep the discussion in the thread topic.
Has Donald Trump advocated that Target Rich Environments should be protected by arms?
I think I have read something that he does but do you have any links to that?

Oh I forgot the wall to Mexico.
Perhaps when Donald reads this the wall will be ten inches higher.

Whenever the Scandinavian Countries, especially Sweden, are mentioned by our people:
It is almost (edit: always) in the positive. I, of course, agree with this assessment.
Must be my Ancestral Viking Blood.
:) :) :)

LOL;) Yes I know that.
But if you are a politician here.
Watch out. Media are controlling every step you move.
We have a lot of transparancy here but still politicians and other actors in our society tries to benefit more from the tax system than us regular citizens.
The Viking Blood boils:)
See what happened in Iceland:)

You didn't either failed to read the article or to understand it. The "An Argument for Big Government" points out that countries with "Big Government" which includes the US until recently are good for their people. They have better health and get richer than small Governments.

The reference to Scandinavians, points out that they and others, notably the Netherlanders, have got much taller than their parents since WW2.
I'm 5" (12.5cm) taller than my dad and my youngest is 6" (15cm) taller than me.

Donald Trump: ‘I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools’
BURLINGTON, Vt. — Donald Trump said Thursday that he wants to eliminate gun-free zones at schools.

"I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools, and — you have to — and on military bases," Trump said, to scattered cheers during a campaign rally on Thursday night. "My first day, it gets signed, okay? My first day. There's no more gun-free zones."

Trump has repeatedly said that gun-free zones are a magnet for mentally ill shooters and that the recent mass shootings in Paris and California could have been prevented if more citizens were armed to protect themselves and others. For months, Trump has specifically called for the elimination of gun-free zones at military installments, but his call to do the same at schools appears to be a new stance.

Trump's eyes drifted up in thought for a split second. "I would change them," he said almost immediately, in a tone suggesting he had not considered it before but liked the idea. "OK. I would change them."

The USA is a Cowboy Culture. Doesn't matter where people came from.
Perhaps People Fleeing Poverty, Political Persecution, War, and leaving all that they know behind: Are Cowboys.
Cowboys tend to rely upon themselves for safety.
Just a different Culture.

I forgot to mention.
I'm also a cowboy:)
Moving some cows to their pasture and bringing them back for milking.
Diana, Rosa and Julia to mention a few.

Watch this a link from a show called Insight on SBS via news.com.au so you all should be able to watch it as it's not from the restricted SBS web site

One thing let it play for about 15-20 seconds before you think it does not work as the first 30 seconds or so , it shows nothing but is downloading and playing

The headline at News.com.au

Gun control on Insight, SBS: John Howard, Port Arthur survivor, gun advocate in heated debate

http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/current-affairs/gun-control-on-insight-sbs-john-howard-port-arthur-survivor-gun-advocate-in-heated-debate/news-story/4fc4b8914541c385c2f4c0ccabb9da8b

And remember John Howard was the P.M of Australia and is a Liberal Party man ( a Republican)

I don't like him but have much respect for what he has done here for gun control
