I'm trying as hard as I can to get some. I'm hoping with everyone asking for MB work now, it'll be easier to get some, but.. so far, that's not proving to be the case.

Hmm.. Maybe I need to quit asking for 2.6M seconds of work on an empty cache. I remember this issue... I need to drop it down to about 200k seconds instead.

Will report back.

The kitties are having a hard time catching them.
I only have 69 so far between 9 rigs. The splitting rate has been rather low.
But, at least there is plenty of v8 MB, and my RAC finally recovered to 6 digits.........

Meowsigh.

I've had a couple but it would sure be nice to capture a few more since I don't have an MB app for the GPU.

That's sad, unfortunately that's part of the reason most people use Windoz.

I thought most people used Windoze because every good game ever is directx. I know that's the only reason I'm still using Windows.

Other than that.. I'm still not fairing well on replenishing my cache. It also doesn't help that I have to keep babysitting BOINC because after about 3 or 4 "no work available" replies, BOINC goes into what I call a "phantom backoff" where it doesn't SAY it is in a backoff... but it really is. It will wait 5m 3s for 2-3 contacts, and then next thing I know, it's been 45m since it last tried, and "status" is blank and there's no indication anywhere that it is in some arbitrary exponential backoff.

If you were using Linux you could cobble together a short bash script that runs every minute using cron and checks stdoutdae.txt for the last time "Project requested delay of 303 seconds" occurred. If it is more then 245 seconds, then sleep the appropriate amount of time to make 305 seconds and then force an update. Linux is good for something :).

It is, and I agree. I love cron. I like Linux.. but like I said in the win10 thread.. the only reason I still use windows is all the good games are directx. Yeah, there's sketchy, haphazard workarounds to try to get DX to work in Linux, but it should just be a little more.. native and intuitive. Sucks nobody's brave enough to make an antitrust claim over DX having an obvious strangle-hold on PC gaming.

It's best to use a utility to remove all components of the currently installed driver before installing another one.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

Has anyone been able to download that utility recently? There seem to have been many updates in recent days, but every download link I've tried has referred me to the latest version download page, and the download never starts (even when trying the 'manual start' link) - not helped by the usual mass of fake download buttons embedded in advertising, and trying to work in translation.

Tried both Internet Explorer and Chrome - no warnings, no errors, just no download.

If anyone has a working copy (Windows 7/64) they could share, I'd be grateful.
