Wow, again I seem to have missed the split. Don't feel too bad. It didn't last very long. Those 3 were all I got. Meow. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Arrgh, over on the beta site I had managed to modify the r2742.cl file while it was giving out some Astropulse test units. So I copied the changed file over to the Seti project folder and thought I had the right changes made to the client_state file, but last night when it tried to get one of the units, Boinc erred the download, didn't like the change in file size. Arrgh. With the last changes to the file on the beta units, 11 tasks were processed. 1 is still awaiting initial validation. For the other 10, 3 validated on first pass, and 7 went inconclusive. Out of those 7 inconclusives, 5 validated and 2 were found invalid. Not perfect, but a lot better considering that before the changes, all units on the RX480 were going inconclusive and then invalid. ... and still I fear, and still I dare not laugh at the Mad Man! I have 23 so far... Must be those APs that pushed me farther down the list again, ;-{ Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Does that mean we really need an updated Lunatics installer Beta? |

Yes we do just to catch it up with the stock apps. But I believe Richard has finished his stint in maintaining the installer code and has passed the torch on. But no one has picked up the mantle. So until some other programmer tackles the maintenance, we are going to be stuck on 0.45 Beta 6. Another lonely '08 tape splitting some AP tasks again. I wonder if I will be able to snag more than my typical ONE task this time. Anything is appreciated, really. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

I got 11 of them. Managed to score 4 this time. Hopefully they won't be mostly blanked like my last couple were. Grant Darwin NT |
