We have moderators? Don't ask. It's a closely guarded secret that we are no suppose to talk about. |

Janne and et all... In an ideal world I would agree with you, but I have had to block someone who kept sending rude and threatening PMs. However, that is unusual as most PMs I get are very nice, but anyone who cannot be nice will be blocked. The problem is that the PM blocking system is connected to the filter system, so you cannot choose to just block PMs from someone. I have never liked that. Reality Internet Personality |

I always think of them as guidelines... A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

Julie, I think it is the floating rolling pin. The duck seems to have settled down. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

Ah my pin. Ta. I'll have that better it appears people are getting hurt. As to why Julie, let's just say we all feel first and think second. And if you don;t like what you hear/read you won't think fully rational. Emotions run wild, bad things happen. (occasionally good things happen too, yes. but love is a gift that needs to be accepted, too) Sometimes, the less said, the better. You can't take back words. Those words spoken in anger will always hurt. Oh people make up. Some are just better at living with their scars. A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

Ah my pin. Ta. I'll have that better it appears people are getting hurt. I don't like people quarreling William, especially not here. I think of Seti@home as a project with a noble cause and we should also live up to our expectations. There are enough problems already in the world. rOZZ Music Pictures |

You sound so young, you make me feel old and cynical... I've been on these boards for 5 years now. I don't like dissent between people I care about either. I don;t even like dissent about people I don;t partocularly like! You walk into the fray you inevitably get hurt. But you just can't stand by either. It's a lose-lose situation. Everybody deals with that their own way. Some break. Some leave. Some become cynics. Some look at it all with infinite love and the knowledge that people will be people, that life goes on (though not for all) that we get hurt, make up, love, hate and in general somehow make it through. Some things mend. Some don't. You can but try to make it better. You say what you feel is right, and then you hope to reach the other person, tosomehow convince them to reconsider. The important thing to remember about a message in a bottle is that you won't know until you get a reply. There is so many things that can go wrong. I find for the sake of sanity, it is better not to think of those messages, not to - to force them once sent - once sent it's out of your hands. That does not mean I don't hope. Hope is what you do in the face of improbability. Hope is what you do when everything tells you that it's just not going to work out. Sometimes, hope is rewarded. Sometimes you fly. A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

You sound so young, you make me feel old and cynical... Jean Paul Sartre always said, the best thing you can do, is to live without hope, in which case everything turns out alright. Oh, I've been accused before that I think like a kid, that's just me I guess.. rOZZ Music Pictures |
