I have been gone from the boards for a while and when I came back there are some badges 1%,5% and 25%. did i miss signing up for this? No. They are supposed to be automatic and based on RAC. Not sure if the script that generates them is still running or how often it runs. I think your RAC of 12,000+ should be high enough to have generated one. |

My RAC is hight enough to earn a badge but I was never issued one. I suspect the reason is because I don't show my donations and that's blocking my badge. On the other hand I do have a badge over on beta with a RAC of 5000 or more. |

Yeah, and I think I crossed into 1% territory quite a while ago, if indeed it's based on RAC. I think I'm in the top 300's somewhere ... |

If you look at your stats page you'll see all types of badge on one page, yet the hover-over shows them as "Top n% in average credit" even though the display is sorted by average credit. Something's borked. |

The badge system hasn't worked since before Thanksgiving when the servers started to have problems. After that it fell to the way side as they as working to correct the problem with the servers. (higher priority to get the server working) So any ribbons you see are from the time before the servers started to have it's problems. There was some debate about why have them at all but rather a mute point at this time. |

The badge system hasn't worked since before Thanksgiving when the servers started to have problems. The badges that were implemented here are the "BOINC default" ones that the BOINC devs came up with. Generally whatever Dr. Anderson adds to BOINC will be implemented for SETI@home even if Eric & the guys disagree. The badge system hasn't worked since before Thanksgiving when the servers started to have problems. Looks like perhaps something has changed. At least my gold finally showed today, so something must have run. |

Ya, I got my Gold Badge also. It must be based on RAC and not total points as I am mid 500K in points and over 11K in RAC, On one machine tho, I was hoping to get to 10K so 11K is a bonus for me.
