Don't feel bad Celt, My PC had a blackout last night, the video card needs dusting and I dare not stop the PC to do so, if I do I'm afraid I may not be able to restart the PC here, I'm hoping My PC will make it for another 3 to 4 weeks, in the mean time I slowed down the video card from 797MHz to 772MHz in an attempt to keep the gpu cool enough so that the PC doesn't crash again. I say 3 to 4 weeks since on Jan 30th I can order a new case to fix My PC so that I can replace the current motherboard/cpu, the newer motherboard is bigger than My current case can accommodate, so a new case is needed. The sound came roaring back with a vengeance, as soon as the reboot started, it's the power regulators on the motherboard, and since My sound is on the motherboard, I maintain a delicate balancing act to keep the PC running, the 30th can't get here fast enough, but for the moment I have to wait, no choice, as My credit card is almost maxed out.
