Thank you Vic. I couldn't resist popping in once or twice from a laptop while on vacation, but for the most part I just hung out with Eric's family members. Grace says Hi Angela, She now has a heated house once again. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

We have the same add for farm heroes over here as well... minus the British accent. Poor raccoon!!! He wasn't there to eat vegetables. He was looking for the cat food aisle. |

So cute!!! My sister-in-law would love to have a third baby. (My brother just looks tired all the time...) Anyway, if news of the advent of a new niece or nephew comes our way, I will definitely ask for a link. |

(1) Why has this group been so inactive lately? (2) Why am I not getting any tasks from seti? I'm confused. ~Sue~ |

(1) Why has this group been so inactive lately? Problem's on your end, I am afraid. The kitties are sniffing out WUs just fine. All caches full here. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

(1) Why has this group been so inactive lately? (1) Perhaps the critters are hibernating. As for (2) One of your machines got two tasks yesterday and the other hasn't connected to SETI since the 7th Jan. |

Hi Sue. While I think that posters here and/or readers of this thread share on-going interest in critters, we don't always have anything new to report. I guess I could share that the scrub jays I've been feeding now number six and that our chunky little opossum likes stale tortillas. I'm not sure any of this information is earth shattering, but it's all I've got. |

I also think they are hibernating. A historically known raccoon is "Sjupp" as Carolus Linnaeus (He is known as the father of modern taxonomy, and is also considered one of the fathers of modern ecology) was presented by Crown Prince Adolf Frederick. |

In cold areas raccoons slow down, but they do not actually hibernate. In warm areas such as ours I don't think raccoons notice too much that it is a little colder. Last night Snowball and Aeh-tune visited us. They were pretty active in their search for food. |
