Message 1669410 - Posted: 24 Apr 2015, 15:53:37 UTC - in response to Message 1669377.

Today Grace was sneezing a lot.

Well...just keep an eye on it.
Cats don't usually sneeze too much.
Mine will have a day here and there when it seems they are sneezing a lot. But it has always gone away by the next day or two.

If it keeps up more than 3 or 4 days in a row, I would say it would be prudent for Grace to visit a kitty vet. Kitties can get some respiratory infections that are not good if not treated.

Yeah that's what I read too, the heater is on, has been on ever since after She started to sneeze, most of what I read wouldn't make sense, since She doesn't go outside and there are no other cats. Today Her head didn't feel as warm, as last time compared to the rest of Her body, so whatever it is, I think She's fighting it off.

You need not worry about the heat or lack of it.
Cats were born of desert animals..........they are quite comfortable or at least capable, of handling temps that you and I find sweaty.
Cats can live from below freezing to well above sweltering without having problems...they just sleep more.

Kitty alert!
The FDA has found some common topical pain meds for us humans can be fatal to kitties in very small amounts.

Yikes, thanks for the heads up Mark. My only nsaids are in pill form and are always sealed up tight in the bottle.

You would have to set up an account at Photobucket or a similar picture saving/sharing site and then link to the picture on their servers. (Photobucket is free, their are some others as well.)

Always happy to see some more kitty pics.

You must upload them to a website like Photobucket, first. From there, you copy the "[img]" link(s) and paste it/them here.

He is such a good boy so much of the time but he sometimes goes into biter mode more with my girlfriend than me but also the 6 years he has been with us has been a learning experience for her since the only pets she had when growing up were dogs. Here is another pic I wanted to use as my avatar but I could not shrink it down enough [/img]

Here's a pic of Grace, the cat Celt was talking about, She's now 7yrs old, She still jumps to the top of the cabinet, which is 4' above the kitchen countertop, She jumps 4 feet straight up. I could only get Her to wear a collar for a little bit, She either pulled them off or chewed thru one.

Here She's eating Her dinner or Her dry food, that's a Cooler Master HAF-X PC case.

Here's a pic showing the upper cabinet, the HAF-X case and yep, Grace hamming it up for the camera...

We do love him to death he was a little stray that came to our door 1 night and decided to stay(I do not think that he had anywhere to go or he would have moved on)I had never seen an orange cat in the neighborhood until Jake(the name we gave him)showed up lots of cats but not an orange one.
