Now Sarah Palin wades in. :-( Shame she can't keep wading, till theres about 30 or 40 feet of water above her head. That way we'd only have to listen to her bubble, and only for a little while. ![]() oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

Good luck Alex. I have a feeling you've been officially recalled and are now assembling and gearing up. May GOD be with you. Your country has a proud history, Alex. If it were not for the courage and valour of your forefathers, there would have been no western europe as we know it today. I truly wish you well, but with a very heavy heart. Best wishes, Anniet :( ![]() oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

Unfortunately I have lost the references, but while surfing the web a week or so ago I found a number of sites that claimed a US government shell organisation had been courting the neo Nazi Ukrainian opposition for some time, and that John Kerry had actually met with Mr Yatenyuk to discuss him assuming power before the event. Unfortunately I did not book mark the pages, but they were quite definite that once again the US was bankrolling a politically unsavoury organisation in order to annoy Russia and further US political ends in Eastern Europe. What is the truth regarding the Ukraine ? Is the US still screwing with the internal politics of other countries or is it all a local issue ? T.A. |

Your country has a proud history, Alex. If it were not for the courage and valour of your forefathers, there would have been no western europe as we know it today. I truly wish you well, but with a very heavy heart. Best wishes, Anniet :( Very glad to hear it, Anniet ! We always remember that our countries were allies (together with the U.S.) in World War II. Thank you once again! Looks like the folks down in Crimea are going to vote to leave the Ukraine and join Russia. On one hand, this is a peaceful solution. On the other hand, the Ukraine is going to lose some valuable real estate. I hope you guys are OK with this. What can I say, Guy! 1. All people have different views on this situation! For example, my wife was born in the Crimea! There now (between Simferopol and Feodosia) live her brother and sister with them their children and grandchildren (nine people)! They don't want go to the Russia! Their fate - refugees (in a crisis situation)! 2. Who's next? All other countries... For the U.S. - Russia has the Strategic Missile Forces; for countries on other continents - underwater and surface nuclear forces in the oceans; strategic bombers... for whom? What do you think? 3 - 5 warheads for us (for Ukraine), and the rest to whom? Yeah, right... for the population Europe! Read here (U.S. source; Geotool: California, San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose; Santa Rosa, IP198.58.82.148) http://turnerradionetwork.com/news/347-pat There and the answer:"Clearly,Ukraine poses no threat whatsoever to Russia, which begs the question: What is Russia preparing for? They certainly are not going to bomb Ukraine with 30 nuclear bombs, so what other targets do they have in mind; western Europe?" What can I say... In Ukraine, the Chernobyl radiation has not passed yet! :( |

The US and Russia have had nukes pointed at each other since the start of the cold war. Entire generations have lived with that threat. Ask a young person today how its feels to be a target for a nuke, You will probally get a blank look. We can hope that an equitable peace can prevail. ![]() Old James |

For Russian strategic concerns Ukrain has several strategic values as big gas pipes security is one of them but Russia is constantly allergic of Nato operations hence if Ukrain fully joins the Nato and many Nato listening/monitoring super radars getting installed around Ukrain will be biggest concerns of Russia. Which means millions of cellphone or internet communications probably getting recorded by NSA, well western europe is already NSA monitoring ground at full throttle. Mandtugai! |

On the related note during 1929-1939 Russian regime and invasion of Ukraine has killed 5-7 million Ukrainians through military operations and famine: the book In Amazon search Holodomor or Ukraine famine. At the same time Russian regime has forced direct Russian influence and mass murderings throughout eastern Asia including Mongolia. During 1921-1939 period in Mongolia 10% of total population or 80 000-100 000 of people exterminated because of being nationalistic and being against Russian regime. And in 1949 Russians increased their pressure on Mongolia and forced Mongolia to lose their traditional script and adopt Russian cyrillics. Well being Russian neighbour has terrorising consequences for everyone. Mandtugai! |

Now Sarah Palin wades in. :-( I'm so sorry Clyde. :( And to anyone else that post may have offended. :( I just thought urging a nuclear strike from the international stage against a spot so distant to her own safe little soapbox was utterly reprehensible. But two wrongs don't make a right, and if you would like to refer it to a moderator for deletion, I will understand. Once again, I truly am genuinely sorry. |

Ask a young person today how its feels to be a target for a nuke, You will probally get a blank look. I would not place to much faith in a source that also claims to have visual confirmation of a giant spacecraft on the moon. Not to mention that its from Hal Turner, a White Supremacist. And for as far as I know, no other media has picked up on this, so I'm gonna go ahead and assume its nonsense. At least until a more reliable source verifies this. |

There are posters in politics that regularly lampoon politicians and make playground level jibes at them, and yes, they do demean their viewpoint, on what is a fairly serious business when all said and done. . Serious business since September 2nd 1945...... 1945 - 1989 Since then.... Iraq Afghanistan Libya Syria as well as many other "brushfire" wars......... isn't politics and diplomacy grand! But clearly they don't take the subject seriously From someone who never served in any military capacity and enters politics after retiring says much! |

Crimea has another bloody history in 1944 thanks to Russians: (Crimea was occupied by Tatar nationalities for centuries until 1944 and Russian Red army deported them out in 1 day)

Many Crimeans loyal to Kiev boycotted the referendum Well that worked well for them didn't it. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. ![]() |

My guess is at least 50-70% of russians are anti-Putin regime in Russia who prefer productive co-existense with the EU. ![]() ![]() ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDQWOdsqlvQ car in Moscow: ![]() ![]() Mandtugai! |
