Not very long ago the only computer that I run SETI on had to have the O/S reinstalled and once I got things back working again I looked at my SETI account and I noticed that two computers were listed and that for all intents and purposes they were the same computer. The one with the most credits had a last heard from date of 07 FEB 13, which was the last day that I had my old operating system in operation. Can these two be combined into one, since they are the same computer ? I'd really like to know. |

If they have the same name, yes. If the computer had it's name changed when the OS changed then no, as far as I know. If they have the same name, go to your Account, click on "computers on this account" and click "merge computers by name" #resist |

I see I should have paid greater attention to the computer name. Normally I'd think it did not matter in most instances but in this case it does. I am wiser by this knowledge. See it's not too late for an old man to learn a few new tricks :-) Thanks for the info ! |
