How is my buddy Spawnie?

Spoiled and imperious as always. He "got" a bird the other day. From what we can tell from the circular smack mark on one of my windows and the brown and grey feathers all over the deck, a bird must have flown into the window glass, became unconscious and fallen right at Spawnie's feet. There is no other way that fat, lazy kitty-boy could have caught it.

Well, I was worried that Gigi might have lost all her babies this year due to her leg injury, but all that worry was for nothing.

Please welcome to the world "Marcel" (thank you Dave I), "Maggie" (thank you Dave II) and Donna (thank you Uli-belle). We were unable to get a picture. They're really skittish and Gigi trusts us even less when her babies are scampering around.

By the way Uli, it is a stretch for me to use "Donna" as that was the name of Eric's girlfriend before he met me!!!!!!!

AWW how sweet. Three babies. Great news Ang!

What will you do if/when they prove their sexes don't match their names? :-)

That is always a problem and so gender-neutral names do make the best baby names. Marcel works either way, as I have known both male and female Marcels. Donna can easily be shortened to "Don" if necessary. Do you have a preference for changing Maggie's name, if need be?

Grace couldn't catch a birdie any other way either, the awnings here have nests in them on the top, since their legs arr made of steel, their kitty proof, but that doesn't mean Grace doesn't want something FRESH, She paws at the screens sometimes too.

I always thought Marcel was a flemish name. We don't use it for females though.

I have been instructed by my favorite moderator (Hi Uli!!!) that this thread is getting a little long and that I should start a new Critter Cafe.

See you all over on the next one!

Bye.
