Allow me to assist, Miz Kenzie... think plantar fasciitis and chronic back pain. Now you go slip on a sensible pair of Orthopedic Oxfords with built in arch supports and leave those TMDAFM shoes to the 20-somethings.

Ok let me amend:
You can walk in those without looking like you are about to fall over or turn your ankle?

An interesting statistic: Women have more workplace accidents than men. The entire difference in the accident rate is the women falling off of their high heels.

Well, they're not exactly practical for walking but that's not really the point. :D

I have to admit to not understanding women and shoes. A while ago I was at a meeting with several women work colleges. It was a fairly important meeting with lots of "role play".

At the end of the meeting I found every one of the women changing their shoes for the journey home. When I questioned this spectical I was told that none of the shoes they had been wearing all day were comfortable enough to drive, train or walk home in.

Whilst I appreciate woman as much as the next man, do we expect too much? (This from a man who owns 3 pairs of shoes, work, home and smart, all comfortable).

I have six all told: Day-to-day boots, smart shoes, pair of trainers, spare pair of trainers in the car boot for emergencies, kayaking wetsuit-boots and wellies.
