It's actually the one I wanted, because it is a little smaller. I don't have a massive house, so smaller is good. There is definitly some assembly required.

Can you let us know the cost of the gas? Good luck with the build.

Absolutely! It may be a bit, but at least with the fish, I don't have to worry about them being sold out or discontinued. The package says it is for ages 8 and up. I hope to heck I qualify, as this looks like a really cool toy! :D

To bad you so far away. I have a 80 CF tank. Oh and as for the cost, a pressure tank costs about $65.00 and refilling it costs me about $28. That about 300 10" balloons. A tank usually lasts me about 3 years. You can also buy a throw away tank of helium on line for about $30.

That's not bad at all. I am thinking that once I get this thing airborne, I'll take it to work, and have a bit of fun! I could fly it into the varius cubes, and even into offices. It would be a riot out on the manufacturing floor!

Kenzie, thank you so much for posting that video! This is going to be fun!

Steve... it keeps coming to mind, so I have to say it.. when balancing between slightly boyant vs slightly heavy, please err on the side of heavy... especially if you take it outdoors?

I would hate to see a change in levitation caused by slightly warmed gasses take it into the air beyond remote reach..

It says in the directions two things. First, never use it outside, and second, use undiluted helium. That fish will never see out of doors. In a way, it will be in worse danger with the kitties.

most of that you can patch. For storage remove putty(silly putty I presume?) and store on ceiling, away from ceiling fans?

I'm at work now, but I just broke down and bought a $20 tank of helium designed for Air Swimmers at Toys Are Us. I have to print out the 2 emails at home, and carry them to the store, which is about 15 miles from my house. I'll print the emails tonight, and pick up the helium tomorrow night on the way home from work.

Sweet!

After I ordered the helium, I got an email saying they were out of stock. I stopped at the Manchester Toys Are Us after work, and they had the helium. I was all happy until I had a chance to read the package later. The tank is not refillable. Rats. At least at the rate I will be using it, it should last a year or more. I didn't get a chance to assemble the fish, but I hope to tomorrow. Toys Are Us actually had the Air Swimmers right there in stock, but for $10 more. The way I see it is when I do have to buy more helium in a year or so, I will already have the correct nozzle to be able to fill the fish.
