It's been nearly ten years since I have struggled for a female companion to share lifes wonders and joys with, specifically because I like spending a lot of time in the field. I am an international precious mineral scientist spending most of my time researching and doing geological survey's, at some stage I hope to get a licence for off planetary mining, probably when I complete astronaut training that I have been doing for several years now. Obviously a science enthusiast is a good choice and a woman who likes tent travelling large portions of the year. I'm 39 [forty September] a dad of two daughters [age 15 and a half and 13 and a half] from my first marriage and haven't had a serious relationship since my last girlfriend of a couple of years who I travelled the world with [she was a British airways stewerdess purser {aeroplane manager}. An airforce servant would be appropriate as I'm an airforce enthusiast with application history and an engineering enthusiast. I recently read 3 million subscribe at SETI and hopefully interest could be apparent. I'm handsome, charming, 5.10ft, artistic, cultured and have a masters degree. It's difficult having relationships in the science world, if any friends or known science servants would be interested I'm happy to talk via email. Have a nice day all at the SETI message boards. Send picture of boat and motor. I know it's an old joke, but I had to throw it out there. :) I do not fight fascists because I think I can win. I fight them because they are fascists. Chris Hedges A riot is the language of the unheard. -Martin Luther King, Jr. |

Well if it works, I hope it will be a happy thing for both of them. |

One of the problems I had when I became a man was that I realised I was completely In love with being outside in the open air, I couldn't stand disco's and group's larger than 3 or four people for socialising, I think perhaps a lot of people at SETI are alike, perhaps even in the entire world of science. Hopefully this helps the interested... Unhappiness fast track |

I think the ability to compromise on social issues could be a large factor, I've been involved with music as most people have, but, many friends of my friends are practicing musicians and the art way of life is something I really like. The great scholarly man Mark Knopfler [now based in Germany] is touring with the great Bob Dillon, wow, what an evening it would be listening to those men. Anyway, I like that sort of thing. Please observe subject genre Ladies and gentleman, it is terrific the conversation has width and broadens scope for ''interaction''. I appreciate it if all persons maintain respect for what could be seen as a shy away opportunity. Have a nice day. Norman Copeland. He's so fine - The Chiffons |

I never would have been bold enough to seek a companion of the opposite sex in this fashion. Let's see, my requirements would be quite different. I'm retired and do go much of anywhere because I can't afford to feed my vehicle. I enjoy most forms of music and race little cars around a track with slots in it. I was married once but we both agreed it wasn't the right time or place, but now that I'm getting older I have begun to see the value of having a constant companion. I'll hold out for a woman a while longer but maybe I should just get a puppy. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required.
