Hello Friends and welcome to the Ninth Critter Cafe Thread. This is a place where Critter-People gather and have fun. There is no such thing as "off topic" in the Critter Cafe. To start out our new thread, here are a couple of our indoor critters In her best Pterri Pterodactyl voice Zsa Zsa whines, "I want to be da baby!" I had just washed and dried this fruit bowl containing the lovely Miss Eva!!! |

They do find some of the darnedest places don't they? Still nice chance to put FF 4.01 through Its paces and yes the pics look very good. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Last year's babies are gone. They have all found territories of their own, I suppose. One large mama raccoon now visits us somewhat regularly. She probably has a litter hidden someplace, but presumably the babies are too young to travel with her yet. She may be (probably is) one of our babies-of-old from a couple litters back, but we don't recognize her as an adult, either by markings or by behavior. Clearly she "knows" our backyard, but she is also rather skittish to have ever been one of our bolder babies. We don't really have a name for her now that she is an adult, but we are open to suggestions. Eric thought he saw Arthur the other night. Arthur has a distinct head shape that makes him easy to recognize. Two of our skunk regulars, Spotty and Smheloise, spent some time last week screaming at each other. No spraying occurred, but they made quite a lot of noise. Other than that, things are rather quiet out here on the "western front". |

Thank you for the welcome, Mrs. K., and Uli! Now if you will pardon me, I must go stalk some prey. |

A local golf course was evacuated ... Giggle! In the Oakland Hills several years ago there was a mountain lion who liked to sun herself with some regularity on the Montclair Golf Course. Here kitty kitty! |

Nice kitty, here kitty kitty.... Charlene Wilkinson just wanted to read the news — not be the news — when she picked up the newspaper off her porch Wednesday morning. Then she got a call from the Helena Police dispatcher shortly after 7 a.m., telling her to stay inside and move away from the windows because a mountain lion was curled up on her front porch, precisely where she had picked up her newspaper just five minutes earlier. http://helenair.com/news/article_dfbab480-86db-11e0-945a-001cc4c002e0.html PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

Any violence against scum like him would make you just as him. We should show him we're better than him by not resorting to violence. |
