I've been thinking what to do next. Overseas countries was fun, but hard work, so I'll save that one for another time. And since I only have four traffic lights between home and the office, that won't work at all. As you probably all know, road running is what floats my boat, so let's go back to that theme. Being an engineer with mild Type A personality traits, I have a complete record of every training run and race I've ever done, so I have lots of material to select from. (Unfortunately, I've been injured for over a year, so the stats have been static for a while.) Okay, between January 2000 and January 2010, I ran 163 officially-sanctioned road races, over distances between 10 km and 89.2 km. A very popular distance is the half marathon, 21.1 km, and many of my races were over this distance. So the question is: how many of those 163 road races were over the half marathon distance of 21.1 km? I'll take some guesses, and allow one change after some comments from me on or around Thursday.
