I arrived the same year Harley Earl unveiled the Chevy Corvette at the GM Motorama. Ignore the hijack. Knew a man who owned a new as in zero mile 'Vette from that year forward up into the mid 1980's. He was a dealer. He actually bought two every year. One to display and one for him to drive. When he retired he auctioned the display off. I'm sure you can imagine what factory new 'Vette's brought at auction. Unfortunately the person he sold his dealership to went belly up this year. |

I love Old Spice! My dad used to wear it. Eric does not wear aftershave. Frankly it is a good month when I can even get him to shave!!! (It's all about picking your battles, people...) |

It is a very wise woman who will admit her age. It is a very wise man who does not ask. Hon, where were you in '62? Eric need not reply.....he was in Bucky territory. And they are gonna stomp some ass in the Rose Bowl......just ask him. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

OK a teensy bit off topic here but I've always observed that old ladies always seem to smell of 4711 ! Equally off topic, but Fred Astaire smelled like Ginger. |

Figure it out if you can. When I turned 18 I did not have to register with Selective Service. You are 51 or 52. I had the same thing happen to me. BOINC WIKI |

In the UK the Babyboomers are generally accepted as those born in what was called the "post war bulge" from 1946-1960. So technically like John I'm a bit outside that catchment area. However I associate myself with them, because like them I was conceived and born at a time, when people could begin to see the end of WWII, and felt it safe to add to or start a family. Those born 1939-1945 are generally known as War Babies, and although I fall into that age group I don't really feel I identify with it. That makes Me a Boomer, I was born in 1960, Boom, Boom, Happy New Year all! Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

My age, how many warts on my face, how many hairs on my head, how many cars I have totaled or perhaps my I.Q ...etc, etc. ... ;o) The question is not how many hairs on your head, but how many in your ears :D T.A. |
