Despite my use of the N word that got me banned for an extended period of time....... I was, at the time, just discussing the use of the word in a film by Mel Brooks. And I still defend that discussion....... If you watch the film in question......and read what was written about it......Mel was actually spoofing and making fun of racism. Not embracing it.......you fools. Blazing Saddles was meant to denounce racism.......Mel was much maligned.......because he spoke out where others would cower. But at least he spoke out. That silly lil deck was an old Pioneer........ Cheap little tape deck. The 18" subwoofer cabinet it is sitting on is much more worth noting.........2 inch voicecoil......which I reconed myself when I blew it out one night........ever recone a speaker? You strip the old one out with solvents and then have to carefully cement a new one in place. I used a bass driver coil in place of the stock one....... What you DON'T see is the couple of Scully decks I have on the right of the set........1/4 track.......broadcast units that I conned offa a friend that did not know what they were. He was gonna scrap them. And that Sony reciever on the right.........that is a one-off prototype unit that I got from sources I cannot reveal. Has special sensitivity head end circuits that were never released for some reason. The upper right reveals a Denon turntable with an Ortofon moving coil cart...... The TV on the lower left was a Curtis Mathes that I was conned into buying by their ad campaigns.......they were just rebranded shit..........but it was a good marketing scam. I am the master of dead media.........I have a broadcast Sony Beta unit sitting right here on my right.......which probably does not work anymore due to aging belts.......and a couple of Sony Elcasets.......which most of you don't know even existed. LOL. One day I shall be remembered as 'that silly kittyman guy on the Seti boards that had this machine that played.............' Or.......'who was that masked kittyman?????'
