On with the Goofy questions!

Back around 2008, we had something where if we made a double post, we could moderate it on our own. All we had to do was edit out all the text, then post the reply. It would automatically delete our message for us!

What ever happened to that?

Serious answer is people were using that to bump threads and it was deemed unacceptable.

Thank you Gary and to the person that kindly answered via PM. It wasn't really a Goofy Question but more of a serious one. And I thank you for the serious answers!

Back to the subject.... Goofy questions, and serious ones also!

When someone is looking for something, why do they say;
"It'll be the last place I look"?

Well ... D'ah!!!
Of course it'll be the last place they look,
unless they intend on continuing the search.
So why say it?

Why when we bend down to get something, do we all go ooof! And don't say you don't either !! :-)

Letting air out of your lungs, to make your torso more flexible. (And yes, I do it too, although mine is more whoof than ooof.) I guess if we breath in while standing up it helps in the other direction, but we seem to do this quietly.

Because sometimes we feel old and when you bend over, you think your back's gonna hurt or your knees will crack...

Back when Eric and I were first dating, he tried (unsuccessfully) to teach me how to play pool. If I accidentally jabbed another player anywhere in the room with my pool stick and my victim went "ooof", I automatically won that game!

Something tells me that may not be a real rule in the game of pool...
