The Canadian long weekend starts a day early, with a Barley Days Loyalist Lager. Only available from the brewery on the western edge of Picton, Ontario. A lovely full flavoured lager, great on a hot day. This was my last one, have to head down that way again soon.

Then we should drink them. Does anybody know how to attach a beer to a post or an e-mail?

Having the utmost respect for Steve, not to mention him being my role model, I will do my best to drink his share until he's all healed up and haired over.

Hmm, Gaymers original cider - can't even remember buying it, must have felt experimental...

mhm. ok, but probably not worth buying again.

I should get myself some from the local microbrewery. If they weren't so expensive :(

It's friends like that that make things worth it! At the moment I am on antibiotics, and the directions say I will get quite sick if I introduce alchohol. Rats! It will have been 2 weeks this coming Monday since I've had a beer! I have more than a week to go. The ironic part is that my father is coming to visit on August 19'th. He is convinced I am an alchololic, so about 20 years ago I told him I quit drinking. It solved a lot of problems, as he was convinced I would throw my like away if I drank. So when he gets here, I have to hide all the beer! Meanwhile, he drinks a half a bottle of Scotch every day!

Go figure!

Anyway thank you all for keeping my spot warm, and my beer cold!

He probably knows what he's talking about...
Most alcoholics deny there is any problem.

And alcohol and modern antibiotics really don't mix, so be good and stay away from the *hicks* stuff.

Hey - what are friends for?

I am following every instruction given to me. I changed my diet, and have been solving many code problems at work. My old diet was beer, meat, and potatoes. Now I am trying to learn what a vegatable is. I always thought a vegatable was me after drinking a couple of six packs. :D I have started reading the posts again, but it will take a while to catch up. This sounds corny, but I have such high fondness for all of you, I couldn't wait to get back to being a part of the community. I feel very, very welcome here. :)

When things get back to normal with you, I may have a couple too. I've kinda' quit drinking because I'm on some narcotics the doc gave me for my back.

That's really cut into my drinking time.
