The project has a few glitches and individuals have to announce they are leaving. I'd prefer you just went away quietly. I don't recall anyone here forcing them to stay. turn off the lights and don't let the door hit you on the A55 on teh way out. If a little hiccup in your busy BOINC schedule disrupts your day then perhaps you should take up flying, or driving or anything else that requires any sort of patience.

I think the Mod crew is doing a great job even without me being there. ; )

they get pretty well abused behind the scenes. New Mods get thick skins quickly. Besides its about science not personality clashes. I'm not always the most civil but I do attempt to remain moderate in my postings.

I was just a newbie poster back in Jan of 2009 when we had just a 3 day outage. I am ashamed to say I was very vocal about being a tad impatient. But some of the calmer heads in here did finally get thru to me. So now I preach patience, But with some folks it sure is hard sometimes:)

There are always two sides to every story.

Express dissatisfaction, and get attacked for it. Personally. That does in my opinion constitute a flame.

Opinions get expressed in forums. You will never agree with all of them. But we can be civil about it without taking them to personal levels.

Is not whining about the whining still whining?

There are problems. A lot of people are trying to figure out a lot of them. And they are not always going to be happy about them.

And you do not need to be happy about that. But it would be really a lot more helpful if you would at least RESPECT that. You might get the respect in return.
