Apparently there was some kind of campus network problem that affected the web pages earlier, which has since been rectified. The Seti dataservers are on a different network path, so they were unaffected as far as connectivity is concerned.

As to work availability however, last server status check shows only 2 datasets loaded and being split....no ready to send cache. So the splitters are in 'split and send' mode right now. Snagging new work will be a matter of luck in catching the scheduler at the moment there are a few available.

Hang in there everybody.....keep trying, and 'crunch 'em if you got 'em!!!

Anyone else seeing this same old problem.

Dave

I'm getting a "SETI@home Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server". Looks like the Cricket graph may just have taken a dive...

Hi Dave,

We-e-e-ll: The Scheduling Server is disabled; the MB creation rate is about 0.016/sec even though there are few MB's RTS and there are 162 AP's RTS. Doesn't look normal to me.

LOL. Nice one. Things seem to be picking up on Cricket but I do find it odd that the AP RTS is growing - not for long as the last channel is about done but still...

Also having a hard time with uploads. Only rarely does an upload go through.

Hmm been pondering the problem all day --- Everytime we are having troubles with uploads, all of a sudden there are more files to be split???? I wonder if they are uploading them direct from aricebo ???? But then again might just be a coincidence ????

The problem may be lack of disk space, or some hung/blocking process. For whatever reason the assimilators just arn't assimilating.
