So I guess the work being created just cant keep up with demand.
Must be some real hungry crunchers still out there. My i7 ran out of work so I just installed lunatics unified OP apps.
So maybe ill snag some WU's later tonight.

edit why am I a new member all of a sudden?

Looks like you made a mistake somewhere and created a new account instead of connecting to your current one.

I did make a mistake on my e-mail address when i first put this on line wednesday. but i deatached and di it over dont know why it went back to the old addy unless it was the unified that did it. I did download the lunatics installer right after i downloaded seti and screwed up my e-mail addy. I just detached and uninstalled seti and lunatics. and reinstalled seti. things are ok now. ill see what happens when i put lunatics back in.

Only because there's a problem somewhere in the system.
Should be sorted Monday.

On the computer where you cannot get into the cafe, logout and then log back in with the correct email address, you were using the new account again.

Weird thingis I know I will get some when things are sorted out, one of my WUS just went up from 4 hrs to 16 hrs because of a minute WU. Looks like I will be out of work in about 8-9 hrs only 2 WUS left to do.

Every now and then I still get around 5 units per hour.... I've downloaded over 40 units alone today. My cache should last me another day or two....

I noticed that the results waiting for db purge is still a 7-figure number for the second day in a row. It appears to me that results and workunits get in the purge queue, and are not getting purged.

But the tendency is strictly monotonic decreasing :-) See Seti@Home Server Graphs.

Down to maybe an hour of work left..Crunching on some yummy Beta work now.. That's cool, I haven't run beta in awhile so off to see what's new thataway.

Looks like everything is uploading/reporting as fast as we can crunch it...but with little/no new work going out...Gonna be an excrement storm when work flow resumes. Probably we won't be able to upload for a week.. lol (joking)
To bad as we had a nice little scosche run there for a bit.

Here's hoping things sort themselves out sooner than later *crosses fingers*

One thought, could the current slowdown in work assignment/generation be caused by the big backlog the assimilators had built up?

I believe that's what the consensus says. The backlog has the WU storage bursting at the seams, so there is no room for new work to be created until tasks are assimilated, purged, and then deleted.

Presently, it appears work is being created at the rate of deletion, and in turn is being assigned at the same rate.

I'm glad I decided to sign on to Rosetta in addition to SETI so that my CPU isn't sitting around doing nothing.

I haven't received SETI units for several days.

Well for the first time since it was built 4 months ago this i7 has actually run out of S@H work.Last week it was sitting on some 1k wu's.
It's a good job that there are other projects to crunch for, because otherwise it would get really cold in here.LOL

That was actually about 35 minutes ago.....
They are probably long gone, unless the splitter rate is maintained.
As of 20 minutes ago, the status page only shows a MB split rate of 1.9933.....
not nearly enough to maintain a ready to send cache.

My Cuda card is gonna be sucking wind very soon....although I have enough CPU tasks on the rig to keep it going for a while yet.
