Good morning to you as well Andy.

I´m trying to come to London this month to see my friends again.
Fingers crossed.

I work in London - when I am in work that is, but live in the West Country, some 170 miles away from the office. A mad commute, but I like living here ;)

So you drive 170 miles every day?
Seems expensive to me.

I only do it a couple of times a week, but yes, it is expensive! There is no feasible public transport option either.

Yes, London to Lincs is about 200 miles. The trains from London to the North are good, so don't imagine it would be a problem.

You can check out train ticket prices and order here: http://www.thetrainline.com/

Hint - it is MUCH cheaper to book in advance and sometimes cheaper to buy 2 single tickets than it is to buy a return.

I have the test done because my dad had polyps. And the last two times i was checked i had a few also. They are precursor to cancer. Not sure if they turn into cancer but i will ride the telescope every 3 years to keep my self safe.

Afternoon (here) everyone.

@Mike: I have seen posted on traveller's boards (but cannot myself source) that "foreigners" get very good deals on "go anywhere" rail tickets (e.g. for one week) - this might actually be your cheapest option if you can find out how to price it. They definitely said you had to buy them before you arrived.

340 is a nice number. Just not as well rounded as 360.
