When I click View Tasks and then choose Invalid, the page shows "Database Error" in the left top corner. I never have Invalid results, but still, I just wanted the mention this.

Confirmed.

Now we need someone who does have an invalid task on the books to give it a try and see what happens. ;-)

I can confirm the error and I am pretty sure I have some invalid task.

I had an invalid task a few days ago. One of those cases where there's no canonical result to compare to. I don't have any more now though.

I'd bet that this is just another side effect of the server issues

Agreed, probably just a syntax error or typo when they rewrote the query targets.

Just an FYI update on this.

The problem is not SAH specific. I'm helping to Alpha test DrugDiscovery which is using a recent server build of BOINC, and it has the same problem.

That could have been my fault ;-)

I requested an upgrade via boinc_alpha:

> Tonight we are seeing some "Validate error" statuses on SETI results:

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/changeset/18104

Thanks.

Anybody see the error in that code, so we can get DA to (re-)fix it?

I call 'not enough closing brackets'.

And indeed..... :
trunk/boinc/html/inc/result.inc
.................................1.............2..............3....................................32
line 76 " and server_state=5 and (outcome=6 or (outcome=1 and (validate_state=2 or validate_state=5)) ",

missing another closing bracket!

See this post in the Mini City News thread in the Cafe....

Dave A was messing with that as well - http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/changeset/18285.

It's ruined Joe Segur's signature.....

The difficulty is that the change to main.css hasn't made it onto the server yet, so div.pre isn't defined. I think the change should be good, looks like it will finally allow posting tables and such without getting double line spacing.

Except I have real preformatted text set in Opera to display in a different font, but I won't complain since tables work:
