I'm a creature of the dark and a big Art Bell fan. I've heard Seth on C2C a few times. After the last time, I thought I could help in the search. My CPU just sits idle most of the time. Now it has lots to do.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti@home because I believe we can't be alone in universe. What a waste of space if we are. I think it is great that so many people from so many countries are involved in the search. It has somewhat restored my faith in the goodness of the human race. I am not sure that we deserve to exist in this great universe. There has to a more advanced form of life than us or the universe is doomed.
We may never actually see or meet other inhabitants of this universe, but if we ever prove they exist that will be amazing. So I lend my meager computer resources to the search.
