Well, seeing as this recipe only called for 1 cup of red wine, I'm stuck finishing the bottle. What a lovely wine it is too. :-)

(And yeah, I know it calls for a Dry red, but I was surprised to find this was the last bottle of red wine I had in the house...)

Add the thyme or marjoram, bay leaf, chicken broth, wine, and tomatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Bottle looks empty, or is it white or rose? Bon appetite, Mumps

There are cups and there are cups, I've got one that's a Green one that's made of Glass that was made by/for Kelloggs Cereal Company(everything is molded in, name, measurements, etc), I've been told it's an antique. And I've got two others that are newer of course in a 1 cup size and a 4 cup size(made of clear glass with red printing), My sister in law though has an 8 cup version that I gave Her as I inherited It and I didn't need It and It held sentimental value to Her and Her grown Kids as It was Her Husbands cup at one time after they'd been divorced(She still loves Him too) as He mad them Real Buttermilk Pancakes from scratch with It. Ah those were the days.

That there wine bottle is a clickable link. :-)

It's the Blushing Rose. Now that that bottle is gone, I may have to open the River Gold or one of the other White's I've got stashed here. They're all vintage 1999, so I really shouldn't hold on to them much longer. ;-)

Meanwhile I'm cooking usual for Me and I'm late.

Too complicated and BSG is on SciFi right now. At least It repeats at 9pm tonight.

Thanks for reminding me...

I save BSG on my DVR. I'll take a look after cleaning the juice out of my wife's DS.

Hi Stealth Eagle, I even noticed it, looks good, those wines, Mumps.

The winery is actually local to our vacation Condo. I bought a case of wine to bring home, and then my wife mentions that she doesn't care for wine. :-)

They really are very good wines. For being made in Wisconsin, that is. :-)

From what little I've read, The lead Character and that's all I know.

Prince Hamlet, I gather is the lead character in the play.
