Winter in Vancouver: already more snow than all of last year and winter is only a couple days old!

(Something about Global Warming. . .???)

Even the walk/don’t walk dude is up to his knees in snow.

Chinatown market area. Normally bustling but spooky quiet today.

That's more snow than I get some years we get maybe a feww inches or none we got about an 1/2 inch so far this year and there were over 40 auto accidents since the people here can't drive in the snow if you can call 1/2 inch of snow snow.

Warmed up to -15C today...feels good after a week of -35C

Our weather has been so good that I'm down with a small pneumonia.
One small mercy though, my daughter volunteered to do all of my Christmas shopping this year.
I must look worse than I feel.LOL

Merry Christmas everyone.

WOW! It is only around 0C on the Lower Mainland, but buried under snow.

Take care of that pneumonia and Merry Christmas from Vancouver.

No Tree up, It's Cloudy and Tomorrows forecast: Chair delivery will be for another day as the relatives are coming back from Las Vegas on the 26th, I'd thought they'd been back by now and were coming from Victorville instead, sigh. On top of that Kathy thinks I sound depressed, Problem is I always sound that way as I always have been that way for as long as I can remember. Of course I'm still being taken out to dinner and their bringing other gifts I think, So all in all It could've been worse.

Friday
Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 40s. West wind 15 to 20 mph shifting to the north 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 35 mph.

Friday Night

-16C in Prince George BC on this Christmas Day with light snow falling.

GRRRR
Mrs. Leftist suprised me with a Celestron 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope...I'm looking forward to clear skies soon.

Oh well, this will give me time to read the manual. (Something that men are not known to do very often)
