Next stop six sixes, then.... duke who has been on for a very long time. At present my most efficient is a MacBook Pro laptop with two processors. Uses about 34 watts and does a unit almost as fast as the MacPro box with four processors. I couldn't wait for the eight headed monster. This big box uses about 240 watts and that really spins the disk in the watt-hour meter. Both have power factors of about 0.99 so the current is almost peaking at the top of the voltage sine wave. So the laptop wins on bang per KWH! ID: 815246 ·
