Eyes are not what they used to be and was wondering if someone who has already started AP running optimized could look at my Ap_info. Not sure if this is correct but it seems my regular WUs are now running a bit slower

How's that? I edited It a little bit, Should work ok in Your PC, Just do a quick backup of all Your Boinc files first before any attempt just in case(select all, then copy and paste to a second folder).

Thanks Joker.. I am a mainframe assembler type girl... not a Client Server XML type...lol. Appreciate the help. Crashed the first time but the second is running just a bit slower than before... differnt type WUs I believe but I see that graphics are enabled so something must be amiss

Added and restarted and still the same... now running SETI Enhanced 6.03 instead of 5.28, don't think this falls under my optimized app specs. Running 30 mins for every five estimated completion. Can I just change the version number under my optimized app specs?

Sure, Won't affect a thing as Boinc or Seti won't give a hoot(As long as You don't have any 5.28 or 6.03 labeled WU's, Otherwise You could lose some or all of Your work!).

Seti @home Enhanced 6.03

Before I added the AP code it was all 5.28

Are you running AMD or intel... I am running SSE3 on an AMD right now Vista

I see that you're using 6.2.18 version of Boinc on your AMD vista machine, are you sure you put the app_info.xml file in the correct directory (it's changed since the 5.* versions of Boinc...) - also, just to be sure, you did call it "app_info.xml", not Ap_info, like in your first post?

Really hate it when I have to put on my glases for close work....lol. LEts see what happens at the end of the file. Had to rearrange the AP info to the top of my file to follow it.
