Hi there! How are you doing?
Spain will debut today(sorry folks, it is tomorrow), in a while, against China [in basketball]. I think that China, Spain and the U.S.A. will fight for the three medals. Let´s see in which order....!!!
Good luck to all teams involved.
Dana Torres: overwhelming.

Ahhhh yes well this whole thing is turning into a joke & not looking good for Beijing.
Some very unhappy family members associated with the mens cycling.
Hands up those who saw a spectator besides the rent a crowds?

And its been revealed that some of the opening ceremony was faked for tv broadcasting.

Australia also getting is lack of coverage in events we want to see.

From what I read, they only CG'd parts that were deemed too dangerous to film with helicopter fly-bys, so they prepared it before-hand. *shrugs*

The TV coverage is abyssmal. If I didn't know better I'd think the only thing so far to show is swimming, gymnastics and volleyball.

I've seen some fencing. It's weird when they scream at each other.

I saw some basketball early this morning - USA vs Angola. And I saw some soccer over the weekend.

Track & Field doesn't start until this weekend.

Spanish basketball team has beaten this morning the Chinese team in a breathtaking 5 minutes extra time after a 72-72 result/score and finally ending the game with ten points difference: 85-75.
A por ellos!

Funny you should mention that, Domi. For the first time in years I'm finding the TV coverage boring, too. Is it the coverage? the schedule of events? the broadcasters' picks? It seems like we're seeing all these early trials and not enough main events.

I can't put my finger on it, but something is BORING!

Yeah it's called the stupid commercials!

Congrats to May and Walsh for their victory over team Norway! YAY! I'm hoping for a rematch with Brazil in the medal round.

That´s a very nice cartoon......it really says everything about how Phelps won his medals. It has been said, the human being copies Nature for improvements in design and performances, but now it seems it is the other way round!!!!!!
Congratulations,Michael.

Thanks Misfit for this post. I also saw something wrong, when I was asked a lot of info, just to view certain venues online.

In a while, Spain will play against US basketball team and fight for the top medals.......it is the second time for Spain having qualified for the final match. The first and last time was in "Los Angeles´84".
Having reached the finals is already a success, but this time [the second time during Beijing ´08] we will play again against US. A second chance.Very interesting match.
Que gane el mejor.....a por ellos!
Cheers!
