I visited your web sites, and I found them very moving. After I have time to visit them again I will try to comment futher.
In the mean time I think that you must be the man to record the events, if a modern day Tom Sawyer named Badwolfbay and a Viking Princess named Arizona Moon, start down the Mississippi River on a raft. I wonder what the tow boat crews will think as she floats by in her Viking War helmet with the cow horns on it.

LOL, there is more than one Viking princess posting here, but she is generally a dove. Don't forget about the Eagle either ;) Good start for an outline of a story so. Not sure about the Mississippi, it should be the somewhere in the North Sea in my opinion.

hehe.. Who is writing the story then.. you? All great events need a
good story-teller.. I have the feeling it must be you taking that
job ;-)) ..that also means you have to find out what we are thinking ;-)
(im sure Richard is busy elsewhere, and if he should record anything,
it would probably be a moon-thing. ;-)) -
Just remember... I have not desided yet if i go over there.. I have some
other opportunities. But if I dont, then maybe Uli will take the female side on the
float instead of me. Im sure the float will be safe with a dove than with
a coconut. LoL

I am not a very story teller, my father spent his whole life selling new and used cars. He trained to understand how important it is to allways tell the truth, so this has been a life long handicap, when I try to tell a story. This is why we need Richard with his camera.

Princess Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn were books that I read when I was about the age your boys appear to be in their pictures. I do not know if they have been translated into Norwegian.

I always enjoyed the old TV specials when I was a young pup featuring Hal Holbrook doing his stage presentations of Mark Twain Tonight......I wish there were more of them available....this one still rings soooooooo true..and sadly, probably will do so for years to come....

Maybe I should check out Amazon to see what might be available....

It's our only claim to fame here in an otherwise dullish but beautiful little town on the banks of the Mississippi River.
