While others cut themselves to ribbons fighting for advantage in a never ending battle over nothing...I just simply declare victory...and enjoy a cold beverage.

I'm playing nice with Es. I'm using a Canne... :-)

So did you see any good films there?

Sno. I missed the S'ing plane. :-)

Damn...That's terrible!

Not so terrible. Some of those films, on the other hand...

Yes...the ones they show there are mostly pretty dreary.

Yup. Sometimes I wonder if "Independant Film" is just another way of saying "So depressing no major label wanted to pay to make it."

If a film is popular it must therefore be awful...Because the critics say so.

I musn't watch the right critics. They just say "check your brain at the door and enjoy."

That's the best policy when it comes to entertainment.

Isn't that why they call it "entertainment" rather than "edutainment?"

"I don't plan on learning anything in the next 90 minutes..."

I will only learn that it was a funny film.

Or how many editing gaffes they made.

So, what's your personal favorite example of horrible acting by a top-name actor/actress?

That's a hard question...I tend to enjoy more the awful films with bad acting by totally unknown...or not very well known actors...I would nominate the entire cast of Space Mutiny.

Just passing by for an afternoon win.

btw: my vote: Angelina Jolie, Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. (Actually, she stinks up the joint in almost everything she made except “Girl Interrupted”, “Pushing Tin” and “Gia”.)

:)

Played the 'RICE Game', for about two hours, NOT easy, for a non-native English spoken person.
But also came to win . . .

Good night Fred.

And the RICE game is hard even for those of us for whom English is one of our mother tongues. The highest score I ever achieved was 41.

But, you did help feed some folks and you learned a little. All good stuff!
