Well, Harvey is my knickname....
And well earned about 30 years ago on a New Year's eve when I went on a whanger after being dumped by my best GF shortly after graduating from high school.......
Went to the local bowling alley's bar and asked the bartender to mix me a pitcher of Harvey Wallbangers.
He thought about it a bit, and said he believed he could do it. Then he said 'how many glasses would you like'?
I said the **** with the glasses, give me a straw.
When I had finished the first pitcher, I asked for a second.
Some time later, as the evening progressed, a cute girly thingy walked by and asked 'what are you drinking there?'...
I responded (as best as I could at the time)..'well, them's Harvey Wallbangers'.
About the bottom of the second pitcher.....must have been closing time......all I can remember is the cute girly thingy and her friends tossing me into the back or her '60 something Chevy hatchback.
When I woke up in the morning on her living room floor, she was standing there with a cup o' coffee, saying............howya' doing there, Harvey?
And the name stuck since.
There are many folks at the tavvy these days that know my by no other name.

Yummy, thank you Monday :)

I can remember we used to order them by the jug quite regularly, lol. The bartenders hated doing jugs, but always thought they'd manage to take someone home. Only one problem with that way of thinking; us girls could usually drink them under the table well before closing... the 80s were so excessive.
