Prog is working well :)
But err is anyone else noticing that Boincview is reporting silly numbers for the Est. Speed?

It says my AMD64 x2 6000+ is at 4.007 GFLOps & that my AMD 64 x2 4200+ is at 3.051 GFLOps.

Cant remember the exact number Boincview reported with Boinc v5.10.28 installed, but I'm sure it was in the 2.xxx range.

Hi!

You are running V1, or V2?

Sorry by my english... is very basic...

I'm running V3

Since you're running optimized applications and now a allmost matching boinc client ... the silly numbers are one the "stock boinc client" side ;)

Anyhow, asking those questions over at my message board will get you a faster reply than posting here ;)

He He, Cool :)

If a tree falls in a forest and there is no one there to hear it, did it really fall?

Of course it did - that's in the definition. But did it make a noise?

F.

A tree in an atmosphere will always make a noise when It falls, Even when Humans are not there. It just means a Human wasn't there to hear the sound, Animals were there and did hear the sounds the tree made as It fell to the ground. As a tree in a vacuum will make no sound as a vacuum can not transmit the vibrations that air will transmit to Your ears.

But...................

How did you make the tree grow in a vacuum?

I didn't, As It was already petrified and as such can fall like a rock which since the tree's petrified, It's already dead and not living, As to how It got there, Somebody brought It there I'd think.

A petrified tree in a vacuum? No wonder it fell down!

If I was a tree, and I found myself suddenly in a vacuum, I'd be petrified!

And If you were Petrified in a Vacuum of a Petrified Tree in a Vacuum, You'd be one Solid Guy alright. ;)

Do you have tested the new version of Crunch3r in one of your kittens?

I am running his first release on all of my rigs....
Have not analyzed whether I need to update to his V3 or not.
I think it was mostly a benchmark thing.

Will Crunch3r's Boinc version has an effect on other projects one way or the other?
