The word paranoia springs to mind...and double standards.

R/B's noodley hotpants don't spring to mind?

What we need, is less attitude, and more fun. But, its obvious that won't happen.

After spending a few weeks working through all the posts, respect and a bit of commonsense needs to be applied.

I have been suprised at the way some on this forum have been portrayed. It's part of human nature that we'll never get along with everyone we come into contact with, or agree with everyones point of view. But part of the learning process it to accept that and move on.

I joined this project to work towards a common goal but sometimes it seems we're hell bent on self destruct and character assassination.

whAt Is nEEded @ tHe SETI Cafe . . .

From the looks of it, the Cafe just needs a few more people banned, and then there'll be nothing but posts from moderators in this thread. The result??? A nice peaceful Cafe. Good job.

I get the impression you are not to enamored by one or two things that have happened here? But what avenue do you/we have to re-dress the balance?

Brian, that's an excellent question. One I've been pondering for the last day or two. The question asked is much larger than the Cafe itself. It encompasses more than just the entire fora as well. The happenings here reflect on the entire project, and it's abilities to achieve it's goal. I'm just not convinced some are farsighted enough to connect the dots.

They have to have the ability to see the dots in the first place.
