Insult well taken...

8^]

So why are you complaining here?...If you have problems with the way the RED X is handled by those in charge of the boards...Why not take your complaints to a higher authority?...

You know as well as I that it is worthless.

This board is meant for humans...to expect logical behavior when utilizing the RED X from such a large collective of this species is illogical.

Which is another good reason for getting rid of it--and ignoring all the emails from those that would use it.

I think it would be better for admins to monitor the responses to RED X messages and counsel the local authorities on proper and improper responses to such complaints...because it is true...sometimes the RED X messages are not worthy of any corrective action.

There are always going to be people who disagree with your philosophies and/or try to shoot you down for it. I find myself in the above category at times and don't like it. Makes me feel bad later. What I've done is eliminate being able to read these kinds of posts so I don't have to lower myself any more and feel bad in the end.

This is not to say I am always right in my thoughts and opinions. This is just a way of continuing here on a level keel. I like sharing and learning and know I can do both in a civil manner if I just stay cool and do my thing without turning into something in the movie, "Monsters Inc."

Hopefully, some day I will be able to see something I think is wrong and let it slide without having to mute it. Walking the line rather than choosing a side is much more educational and peaceful, for me.

I'll miss those who leave. I've left a couple times myself but came to the realizations shown above.

:P

I am sorry to hear Kenzie left. She was very nice to me.

I have been watching here for a while and I totally understand why she left. That is partly why I have not been posting much.

Yep, I can understand why she left. Since I like to post here on the odd occasion I will do the bare minimum to maintain the minimum RAC for posting.

Don't you know,
there's a place you can go?
A place you gathered
before the automod was a term you knew or mattered.
A place
where everybody knows your name,
and it doesn't take 1000 deletions
to gain some fame?

I miss kenzieB already. Her and Stacey. When they appeared here it was like sun-rays on a cloudy day (as well as it is when other women are posting here).

I must say that sometimes this board really seems to be misogynous.

As one of the few women left posting here I think I should come out and declare my allegance.

I am one of the 30.

I know that, Mike. AFAIK you (singular) never posted any misogynous snide-comment. Well, I know of some others who did though...

It's true, Thorin. I, the primary organizer, recruited him before I recruited you and 5 of 30. Unfortunately, know one knows who 4 of 30 is and probably never will.

OK, I was kidding. I knew Rush would not have discussed it with us in our original, think tank incarnation.
