The dog picture is appropriate, with or without obfuscation.

Uhh.. The un-obfuscated dog picture is NOT appropriate for these forums, per project policy. Use of the 'f-word' (either in an image, or text) is not allowed. Obfuscated, it is just fine. I found both versions funny, but the rules are rules...

Sorry, what I should have said to properly convey the meaning was "Imagine the dog picture here, with or without obfuscation." Appropriate has several senses. I meant it in the sense of fitting or suitable at that location. There was no intention to argue the point of the deletion of the unobfuscated link.

Then my apologies for the misunderstanding.

I said yea, but the pirate in me would have said Arrgggg. Anyway, I would stay with Seti even if there was no credit. But I would not have spend thousands of dollars to create 10 systems, 6 of which do nothing but Seti 24/7. Nor continute to upgrade them as faster processors and other parts come out.

I could not agree with you more......

I hear y'all there! I'm in it for the scientific goal. But it's the credits that make it FUN.

The very fact that the respondants are even on this board skews the whole thing. After all, if they had left already, they would not be answering my poll, now would they? LOL. It was just kinda meant as a show of hands kinda thing.

An interesting group is those participants who basically never come to these boards, probably don't know what their RAC is or care at all about credits. I suspect they outnumber those of us who have made this effort into a hobby which occupies much of our time. They effectively voted "Yay" when they joined.

Just selected an Avatar from Monty Python and The Holy Grail

If you think this is to gruesome let me know. I really don't want to offend.

Thanks Greg
