OK it may seem rather macabre but if you don't mind it could be a little fun.

If you are bothered by the end of your time then forgive me and please ignore this thread.

What would be your epitaph?

(If you want to add to someones elses epitaph please be kind or be sure they won't mind....)

Anyone is welcome to epitaph me :o)~

LOL!
Mine would be, "When asked what he wanted to do when he finished his doctorate, he responded 'Sleep.'"

Interesting subject to ponder about.

But I already decided a long time ago. I want this sentence to be engraved on my tombstone:

He always has done what he thought to be right.

This is a true story...

In many of his movies, W.C. Fields the comic actor, who often played a committed drunkard with Mae West as his partner, made much of hating his hometown Philadelphia. "I'd rather be in Hell than be in Philadelphia!", he often said.

On his tombstone, the epitaph reads:

"All things considered, I'd rather be in Philadelphia."

Message on a tombstone;

As you are now, so once was I
As I am now you too will be,
So be prepared to follow me.

My epitah;

To follow thee is my intent,
But you gave no sign which way you went.

I was somebody.
Who, is no business
Of yours.

Funnier actual one:

(Anna Wallace)

The children of Israel wanted bread
And the Lord sent them manna,
Old clerk Wallace wanted a wife,
And the Devil sent him Anna.

I've thought about this a great deal... mine would either say:

"I'm outta here!"

or simply

"Ha ha ha ha ha!! So long, suckers!"

that would have worked if you hadn't stopped me

I think the Haiku in my sig would work pretty well.
Air Cold, the blade stops;
from silent stone,
Death is preordained
