Well, there's free speech...and then, there's dialogue.

Dialogue includes listening, which is Keith Stanley's point on this thread. I'm sure that on some comedy shows, as well as in real life, we've come across what some call a "Spanish Conversation". That's where two people are talking quickly at each other, while ignoring what the other is saying to them. It's good material for comedy because it's pointless.

Hve we got any spanish mods? No? Ok, you're safe there then, otherwise that would have been red x'ed as being insulting to the Spanish!

What? Well all I can hear these days is the crunching of eggshells......

Chris, if I could make you feel better, I would.

What can I say? except "Come Out and Play!"

TAG! You're IT!

I don't know about that border guard, Babelfish.

I asked him what that means.

He said, "Veto to haul the neck to the chicken!"

I can see you got a mangled translation from Bablefish, again. It's not veto, and they got the verb all wrong which the infinitive is to pull, not haul.

I asked that guy, Babelfish, "Why did the chicken cross the road?"

He says, "He didn't. He just stretched his neck across it, to get his head to the other side."

Go figure.

Frankly, I don't listen much to the Klan. Or the Nazis. Or anyone else who advocates the use of force against another. I don't care what they think.

Ever been to Hyde Park Corner on a sunday morning? If not, you should, I'd love to see your face!

Once. It was a complete waste of time.

Mostly pinkos that want to be free of the "man" but want to force me to play along with their silly games. Funny, but nothing more.

The type of idiots that think that is an effective tool for promulgating their message tend to have missed the boat. And they can't bitch about the Queen if I remember correctly.
Cordially,
Rush

I like to share my point of view, and I like to listen to others - especially when their opinions are in opposite to my opinions. Listening is never wasted time, as long as you're not ignorant.
I learned that listening to your opponents is at least as important as listening to your friends, because the more you listen to them the more you know them - and the more you can learn about their strengths and weaknesses.
