Hmmmmm....
I hope it's just Matt tweaking things again, but the splitters have stopped dead in their tracks....

I've just watched about 60 downloads complete in double-quick time (from a lucky allocation about 4 hours ago). Got up to about 30KB/sec on some of them.

Wonderful what the download server can do when it isn't being hammered by those pesky splitters, isn't it?

Looks like the splitters have started back up again.....(as the forums slow to a crawl).

Edit I can be wrong about the points, it looks like a wu will take about 4150 sek. 53point?

Yes, looks like 06no06ab has some gobstoppers in it - AR=0.4358947562104, for the one I've managed to snag so far.

But we're over half way through it already, and 07jl06ae looks like a barrel-scraping if ever I saw one - hold on to your seats, this thing ain't over yet.

And look at that Cricket Graph:

"Results in progress" peaked at 2,994,328 sometime in the last hour. The gobstopper is doing its work - we didn't quite reach the three million mark .... this time. Haven't had any from 07jl06ae yet, though.

Anyone noticed how the web pages are really, really slow some of the time, and quite reasonable at other times? Could that be Matt's new three-way round-robin? And if so, how can I tell which one I'm picking up, so I can tell him which one needs a boot in the proverbials?

The ones I picked up earlier for the C2D from 02dc06ab, are 63.98 cr, AR=0.011336.

But still got a load of VHAR's on this PentM, but the last two downloaded seen to be better length, time wise, from 06no06ab.

Guess what - my first task from 07jl06af (and not, interestingly, from 07jl06ae, as the server status page says) is another shorty. And no, it's not a resend from some acient splittery.

Edit - AR=1.9334945011424. At least it's not one of those 2.47s

From my 'sygate' traffic log, I see that 128.32.18.171 is fast, and 208.68.240.11 is slow in updating the pages.

Those are the only IP's that I see while browsing the Seti forums.
