Have a good break, and we will keep winning, and closking up the hours, until you return. By then this thread and It's replacement should be history!

Remember TLPTPW # 36!!

Winning again then Dan, or just readying yourself for Skype?

Skype comes on every time i plug in my USB key...Thanks for reminding me....Now on to victory.

Why would it do that? Mine just auto-starts when I boot up the laptop or PC at the office. (Then again, there's been the rare, seemingly random, occurrence, where it does not auto-start.)

On the computer based version of Skype there is an option to start the program when Windows starts...But as of yet i have not found a way to stop Skype from launching when i launch the U3 system to use Firefox from the USB key...As long as i don't launch the U3 system i'm OK.

You lost me at "U3." What is that?
Using Firefox from a USB key: is this from a particular computer where you do not have the Firefox program installed on the hard drive and you're able to run the program from the USB? If so, I've never tried that. I suppose some programs installed to a USB, if possible, would keep some hard drive space clear.

Follow this link for a bit of an explanation...Don't feel bad...When i bought this thing i had no idea it would do this kind of stuff.... http://www.u3.com/smart/default.aspx

Got it.
So, perhaps a normal USB Key would not work this way, but some of these newer ones do?
Prices look decent.

Doesn't "Ich tun" mean "I do."? As in, "Yes. I do." Short for "Yes. I do think so." "Ich weiss es" would either mean "I know it" or "I think it."

[EDIT: No translator was used. :P]

No german says "Ich tun" sometimes "Ich tue"

gramatically correct but no one is using it any more.

Enough German for today - I wrote a test in this subject: about "The Seventh Cross" by Anna Seghers. That's the most boring novel I ever had the questionable enjoyment to read. If I had to re-write it, I would reach less than 100 pages instead of the 420 pages of the original book - without losing a single tiny bit of the story-line.
I don't know how others could write almost 1,000 words in the test - I had to blow it up to reach 400 words... :-(

Nevertheless, I win.

I wanted to post something into the Political thread, but I'm too tired for it. I'm going to bed.
