Winning while eating licorice ice lollies.

Oops, wrong thread.

Beets, I suppose you don't mind I delete that cake pic I made for you with your boat from my Photobucket? I guess you already have saved it if you wanted it.

Man I'm STUFFED

Went to a Chinese buffet with a friend...

OOOH! I'm jealous! LOL

I hope you had at least one real egg roll or spring roll on my behalf. There's one thing I'm very unhappy about in my little Burgh. The spring rolls are lousy! :(

Instead of using soyabean sprouts, those Irish fools make them with shredded cabbage. They're soggy, mushy, and tasteless inside compared to the real McCoy. Mind you, just one province over, the black folk make an absolutely delicious homemade eggroll with hamburger meat, herbs and onions. Now that's something to write home about!

Ya know- I had'em a spring roll, an egg roll, and some sugar rolls too....

they were on my dessert plate and just as I sat down as was about to dig in-

we had to roll out-

Man I hate when that happens- and we just ended up waiting and waiting for a transport that had ended up waiting on my friend at the wrong restaurant.

I'm going to have to go back just to get my dessert plate

This just in...

Close Call:

Patricial Ann Ross of Rome, Georgia, had quite the close call today. She was stopped at a red light before an intersection downtown, when this huge crane slowly toppled over her car. Not slowly enough for her to get out of the car, mind you.

As you can see, the crane landed right on her back seat, just inches behind her. In the pic below, taken just minutes after the accident, Pat is calling her husband. Did I hear someone say "Aflec!"?

So, my question to you is: If that happened to you, would you consider yourself lucky or unlucky?

By the way, Beets, that emoticon, maybe you should be a little careful with that one, just read on this site, a little down....

We won't have you beaten up if you use that one to people in Italy or Greece, would we? :-O

Event Notice...

The famous Calgary Stampede is on this week, July 5th-15th. Tickets are still available!

Hotels are not. But who needs one, anyway? Westerners are friendly people: just turn up and tell 'em you've got no place to bunk and lots of people will offer you a place for the night.
