I had a little trouble getting into the van this morning.

I think I need more Cheerios!

This just in...

Team Allinghi of Switzerland just beat off Emirates Team New Zealand's challenge to win the Americas Cup, 4-3. The Kiwis gave it a good try, but couldn't win.

Where is America in all this? Good question.

Just the same, like Team Germany. They was to slow!
Team Germany (United Internet) made a very bad job. They won only against Team China.

This is a sport where it takes A LOT of money to win. I'm surprised America hasn't risen to make a real challenge lately. It's their Cup, after all.

I sent you a PM btw. ;)

Hello Beets,

another crazy Monday here. Hope you enjoyed your Canada Day.

Heyas Champ!

I had a quiet one, for me, IRL this year. But we had lots of fun on the boards, thanks to Pawly. :)

All the stores are closed today. The weather's nice this morning but it's expected to change later. I'll keep an eye on it: if it's good, I'll go sailing; if it's not so good, I'll probably go for a nice little drive in the countryside.

How is your day shaping up?

Thanks Beets, but you were here whooping it up too. Enjoying my first coffee and inspecting the aftermath!

Cheers Paul

Good Morning everyone!

It's a sunny holiday Monday here, today. Happy 4th to come, dear American friends. :)

I'm serving Eggs with Smoked Salmon, Dill and Lemon this morning...and lots of Orange Juice for those of us with hangovers.

Pawly: Great Canada Day party yesterday! Let's see what kind of a party the Yanks can put up...

Morning all- that sounds real good- I'll take an order with a side of German potato pancakes

OOOH! YUMNY!!!

These are absolutely delicious! It looks like they're made with some cheese and veggie thrown in too.

May I keep the recipe to add to breakfasts, now and then?

They look great, don't they?

No, Richard. I've had nothing but aggravation with Amazon.ca (the Canuck company). I'm going back to Amazon.com. Meanwhile, I'll have to nag and complain to get the darn DVD delivered and I'm just not in the mood for getting into it. So it'll be a while before I get to see it, looks like. :(

Of course- and I noticed that you found a larger version of the image compared to mine. Pretty kewl.

Here's a link to the recipe I actually use:

Good Morning, everyone!

I had a real nice day yesterday. I went on what turned out to be a long drive in the country. I crossed one ferry, drove 3/4 of the way around a very large island, crossed another ferry, drove all the way down a long peninsula, then over a long bridge and that brought me back home. This is the season for country drives I tell you, they can be a lot of fun. :)

Thanks for the potato pancake recipe, Snow. I'll definitely give it a try!

A light summer snack might be best for today. We're serving them with the Western-Style Grilled Cheese Sandwich and a large glass of Orange Juice.

Enjoy!
