I also find it indecent to scratch my private areas, pick my nose (especially before a handshake). If it's OK to breastfeed without a small bit of courtesy to others, then I want to wear really short shorts so my fuzzy testes hang out (one on each side, similar to CR's avatar squirrel). After all they aren't sexual (reproductive, not sexual), and improved cooling (just like puters) improve performance (motility, fertility). ID: 463935 ·

This is why the newborn baby is put to the breast to suck right after birth. If it's an erotic feeling, I don't know? Specially when the uterus has regained it's normal shape and size? It might be helpful if you renamed it so we know what the topic is. :-) I wish I understood more about what the Air Stewardess found so offensive. I've breast fed many times on planes. The doctors often recommend it because it stops the painful pressure in the ears for the baby. I think a screaming baby on a plane would be much worse to the other passengers than a baby just doing what is natural. I've breast fed in public many times with both my children up until they were 2 and I've never had so much as a funny look or a complaint. I'm rather baffled by the story. I do not understand what is so bad about a mother feeding her baby. The news said the problem came about when she was asked to cover herself with a blanket the stewardess provided and she refused. The stewardess advised her and her husband that if she did not cover up she would be asked to leave the plane. She still refused to cover up and was escorted from the plane, her family followed her off. ID: 463998 ·

There's a difference between something that's sexually offensive and exposing body parts that would otherwise be covered in a given situation. Like a forearm, a shoulder, a face, sexually suggestive abbreviations (see first line). I was breastfed as a baby. My two sons were breastfed. I remain a breast baby to this day. I'm not sure he realizes that plans cannot be dropped because of a hungry baby. Run off to do something as a social outcast to do something that is completely natural. If one is offended by a mother breastfeading her baby the simplest solution is to LOOK THE OTHER WAY!
