Sorry about the misspeeling ... mobile (cell) phone went off while I was typing.

When doing Classic I ran it with SETI Spy, which had an option to lock to a processors (within the priority of an application). This is not a facility in BOINC Manager, so a manual lock is nedded. Windows floats wach WU across all the processors, and locking them to one makes the crunching more efficient. As you can see! However, in NC there is speculation a new version of the BOINC client will have such a feature, as the dual core machines are becoming more common!
