As most may know TEAMSTARFIRE had a split and the other members formed a new team TEAMSTARFIRE World Boinc before leaving and transferring team founders they changed the team logo to their server. Knowing this is a long holiday week end they changed the team name and graphics. so that it would be hard to correct the changes they have made. This is an offense that Berkeley should not let pass with out penalties

Sorry about the antics of some drunks in the night. I guess you guys shouldn't have left your images on our server for so long (over a month), and yes, the images were there long before the split. The only offence noted here is your ranting. Try to lighten up a bit old friend.

Nobody changed the team name, that would require access to the teams account page.

It does indeed seem that the graphic was changed, but as Kinguni stated, it was over a month since your team were asked to remove it from our teams server.

It was, it would seem, a joke in poor taste by somebody with access to the server, nothing more than that.

No hacking involved, at all.

It would seem that whoever did it just decided to follow the no free bandwidth rules etc as set forth by justin, each team having to survive on it's own and what have you; not have their images and links on the other teams server/site.

A: No, the pic was hosted on our server for quite some time, Hank. It was there long before the DCS actions forced us to form our own true World BOINC team, something we had long fought for.

B: You know what they say about assumptions..... The holiday weekend had nothing to do with it. What happened was a post was deleted where some TSWB members posted about passing their old team, DSLR Starfire, in Seti RAC. After all the recent events, and especially the heavy handed moderation that has been going on over there, the picture was replaced to show their extreme displeasure at the events. While I don't condone the action, I can certainly see how it came about.
