Jennifer seems to have pulled up stakes and closed all of her threads. Anyone know why? If it is the actions of a particular person, a permanent ban should be considered - if only a warnin. This is unacceptable - a fair fraction of the more pleasant posters have taken offense at something on the boards and left.

I know why, she sent me a mail.

And no, it's not the actions of one particular poster, it's rather the actions of several posters.

I was posting in each of the three threads in question.
If I have offended Jennifer in any way, I sincerely apologise.

She seemed to be a friend of Beethoven...And if so...That is likely why she left.

Would Beethovens treatment explain why so many posters have taken offense and left?

Do you mean the treatment of Beethoven or by Beethoven?

People started to leave long ago due to Beethoven.

I can't speak for everyone...But Beethoven has intentionally offended many in the past few days...

But still regarding Beethoven...There may be a few who have some sympathy for the devil.

My guess would be the treatment of Beethoven by the mob that runs this place. They have about run me off too even though I am very stubborn. The fact that Berkeley supports their behavior offends me.

Oh I do. Every post you ever make is a little moan a somebody...it's like all you ever do is hang around here looking for somewhere you can go in and tell everybody how hard done by you are. I don't see you coming here and complaining how awful it is that Beethoven called me a c**t, I don't see you complaining that Beethoven called Dogbytes a JewBoy. I don't see you complaining that Beethoven posted a giant Nazi flag all over the boards. Is it any wonder we want him gone? If you ask me you are the one that doesn't get it.

Now if only the admins would get it together and ban him, people wouldn't feel they have to take matters in to their own hands.

Beethoven was sometimes in between his trolling episodes OK and tolerable. Sometimes even nice. But his excessive trolling episodes unfortunately outdid this, and even an ignore was not enough imho (that does for plain jerks like Mushbrain or Jeffrey) to deal with him in this state.

Have a nice day,

David...I know somewhere in the past someone must have treated you horribly here in this forum...And for that i'm sorry...But as far as i can see there's no mob trying to run you off...You may not be the happiest man on the planet...And you may have a chip on your shoulder the size of the moon...But that doesn't make you someone who is bad in my eyes...Beethoven is another story...A complete;y different story.

<== Comes out of his corner and raises his hand.

I posted some flamebait to her choices thread.
I changed my mind shortly after that and edited my post, but she had already answered it.

Seems like she didn't post anything after her reply to my post.

Regards Hans

It may be neither....Fuzzy appears to have the answer.

Yes, I got another mail from Jennifer saying that she has explained in her profile. And she has let the right person know about her oppinion.

She also says that she has no intentions of posting here again.

Personally I hope she'll change her mind, but as things are I don't think anything or anybody can convince her to come back.

So, another person has chosen to walk away from here and never look back. :-(

It appears that she feels that someone mistreated here around here. It is also possible that she feels someone else was treated horribly and left because of that. I am not certain which.
