whatever, chuckles.

Ah, the sound of moronic laughter. Perhaps it's time for you to return to the institution.

Here, put your industiral aluminum hat back on. This will keep those evil thoughts you keep having from getting into your brain. And the ones that do get in will just rattle around inside your skull for a while until they run out of cells to collide with. Don't worry, this won't take too long at all. I'm googling your address so I can order you some tissues online. If you're anything like me, you're just all weepy right now. Take care.

I'm sulking cause there so many children who have to continue with their bickering, instead of just dropping it, and letting it move on, or simply ignoring each other. Ahh wait, I know what it is, its to see who has the bigger balls. I'm gonna go sulk now, cause I just can't match up to the children.

I sure was looking forward to you finishing that one back then. That would have been fun. Oh well. Maybe at some point we'll have a volunteer candidate to put into that uniform.

There is a diffence between Malichious Fraud and Parody. Ask Tom I have lobbed his head off several times!

God Bless You Tom!

Oh yeah, I agree. I posted somewhere a few hours ago that I didn't think there was anything to be offended or 'worried' about with that first photo. And way back when she said she overreacted. I always thought she left out of frustration at something else but who knows....or cares. Can't force her to come back. It's water under the bridge now.

Hey TROLLBOY! Why don't you just STFU and go away? And while you're at it, why don't you start doing some contributing by way of crunching as that credit of 88,355 has been stuck at that number for an awfully long time. And why is that RAC stuck at 51 too. Seems something shady is going on there too. [edit]Now I know why your comps are hidden.[/edit] I don't sulk but jerks like you really get me pissed.

Ooooh I'm feeling soooo threatened by that 33 RAC. Is that the best you can come up with?

Looks like the threads have returned to normal, including the recriminations.

I'm sulking because people will just not let it lie!

Next time you post something that you feel strongly about, we shall see if you just let it lie. Oh wait! The very post I am responding to didn't exactly "let it lie", did it? How about looking at the tone of these posts you are so unhappy about: are they full of obscenities? threats? insults? racist crap?

There have been real disruptions and attacks in the not too distant past, here in the Cafe. The imagined slights that have been discussed in this and other threads are not such a problem.

I've never posted here but I'm sulking now because nobody but Es and I stood up to a guy - BrainSmasheR - who said it was too bad he wasn't the head of the KKK - or maybe that he wishes that he just got a free coffee mug from the racist hood-wearing freak (message 301552). I'm also sulking because it seems to be okay - judging by lack of community response - that a proud racist is allowed to run free here in this community, gladly spouting his predudice against African-Americans. Free speech is one thing, but I am appalled. Here's the language he defends as not being racist
Makes me sick.

Minus away or show a solidarity against racist attitudes by giving this post a plus. It's a way to show your feelings and stay anonymous.

And, as you state, now in the past!!

I am afraid I have reached that age when such things, though important at the time and need squashing, are but a passing shadow, and have little importance in the priority of life. Perhaps only in this forum does it have any priority?

I am just having a little sulk because some colleagues keep making an age old mistake of revisiting a battlefield, however strongly a passion is felt!

The battles need not be revisited, amd much passion lost. The important part is to keep the vision of the issue alive, and remind others if the same paths appear to be rewalked!

SULK! SULK! SULK!

What I am asking for is that people lighten up and treat the Cafe as the fun place it is supposed to be!

Jim - I agree with your view, but this is the first time I saw any mention of this!

When I saw BrainSmasher's first series of posts he cam across as a 14 year old and went straight on my PLONK list, in the filter. His choice of a handle illustrates this enormous immaturity!

I am with you on discrimination needs to be sorted, especially in public venues.

I am sulking wih you on this point!

[sulk] Well, actually, I tried to debate this very subject in-depth with BrainSmashR last year. [/sulk]

Please John, don't tell me that issues as world-encompassing and important as racism aren't "passing shadows" of "little importance" in your eyes. I sincerely hope that I have misunderstood your post as one that is addressing another topic. Apologies in advance if I have! I cannot imagine that a person of your life experience would be the least bit cavalier about racial hatred wherever it showed up. Especially a place that should be just fun. What better place to be sure it is quashed vehemently! I'm sure you agree.

Respectfully,

Jim

EDIT- I see you posted a response to my original post as I was composing this one - we're eye to eye, sir and no surprise.

Jim

Your assumption is correct regarding the big issues of racial hatred and discrimination. I feel this should be squashed at all points.

The issues I refer to, and I hope I am not likely to reignite, is the recent row in the Cafe and Inuendo threads involving Kaleste.

The issues were aired on both sides, then Kaleste felt safer by withdrawing and killing her thread. This is now in the past, and should remain so for the sake of comradeship and fun in these threads.

If matters at this level cause major flame wars, and make the threads serious, then I will stop posting.

Other matters, as described, are different!

I´m still sulking that we have lost Kaleste to the dark side....

I'm still tickled at the fact that your choice of drinks in an Innuendo thread raised the reaction that it did. Kinda makes you wonder whether some people actually do exist in the real world...

oops, sorry, supposed to be sulking....hmmm....Nope, sorry, can't find anything to sulk about at the moment, but I'm sure something will come up....oops, pls excuse the innuendo ppl...lol

Surely it wasn't due to my choice of drinks! (but did it help break the camels back?)
